Lounge access with a credit card
Lounge access gives you a quieter place to wait before a flight, usually with food, drinks and Wi-Fi. Hong Kong cards offer anything from a few passes a year to access only when your flight is delayed.
Types of lounge access
Some cards give passes to Cathay lounges or to Plaza Premium lounges, which are at Hong Kong International Airport and many airports overseas. Others use a network such as Priority Pass, or a delay pass that opens the lounge when your flight is late.
Check how many visits you get, whether a companion can use a pass, and any condition on the visit. Many lounge cards also earn Asia Miles.
